I freaking love February. January feels like it is 16 weeks long, and February zips by. Then comes my birthday month. Whoop whoop! This month I tried a ton of new stuff, and quite a bit of it was really good. I am someone that likes to stick to my tried and true products, so I don’t end up disappointed. But I did a ton of research and came across some amazing new finds! I also did a massive clearcut and rediscovered some things I had forgotten about. Here are my February favorites!
GlamGlo SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment
I will start with an oldie but goodie. It feels odd to put a mask in a favorites round up, since I didn’t use it every day, but oh my god. This mask is one that I have used for years, probably since it hit the beauty world with a bang. The GlamGlow SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment is everything I want from a detox mask. It’s cooling, leaves my skin feeling so soft, and really does make a huge difference in drying up any blemished quickly. Plus, my skin doesn’t feel stripped after using it. I have seen amazing results this month since I made it a point to use this at least once a week. My skin this month has been miraculously clear!
I love all of the GlamGlow masks, especially the Gravity Mud! But this one is by far my favorite. You can almost feel it working while it sits on your skin. And the next day, you skin is so soft and clear!
Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eyeshadow Palette
I waited for quite a few restocks before even attempting to buy this palette. I had previously purchased Jaclyn Hill’s face palette from Becca and fallen in love with it. But I had never tried Morphe Cosmetics, and I couldn’t justify needed one more palette. Eventually, I succumbed to peer pressure and bought it. I can one hundred percent say that this Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Palette is hands down one of my favorite things I own right now. The shadows NEVER crease on me, even without a primer. This is saying something, as I always have pretty oily eyelids. The colors are amazing, and I have even used a few as blush or bronzer when I have been in a rush. And when I had my eyebrow fiasco a few weeks ago, I even started using one of the darker browns as an eyebrow powder! The only downfall is the lack of mirror. If it had a huge mirror on the inside, it would be perfect.
Dior Forever Foundation
Guuuuuuuuuuuys. This one is a keeper. We are talking – replace my Nars Sheer Glow as my holy grail foundation. I haven’t tried a foundation that I instantly loved in a really long time. I am super picky, and since I have tried a lot, it is hard to impress me. But I cannot express the amount of love I have for this beaut of a product.
The Forever Foundation is super lightweight. It sits so nicely on the skin and doesn’t leave me with the “I’m wearing makeup” feel on my face. It blends super fast and stays on my face all day. Seriously. All day. The last foundation I was using would wear off after about eight hours, but when I take my makeup off after a 12 hour day with the Dior, there is a tone of foundation on the cloth! Highly recommend if you have dry skin and are looking for a medium-full coverage foundation that lasts all day.
Glossier Priming Moisturizer
It is so hard to find a good daytime moisturizer. I need something nice and hydrating, but that will sit well under makeup. I am not a primer girl, so whatever I moisturize with, is the base for all the things that are going to follow. The Glossier Priming Moisturizer is so perfect and ticks all the boxes. It hydrates my skin and leaves it looking nice and juicy. The best part is that it stays moisturized throughout the day without getting greasy or oily. My makeup doesn’t slide around, even if I skip a setting powder!
Initial Necklace from The Silver Wren
After hunting for months and months for the perfect, dainty necklace. I wanted to support a small shop. I heard about The Silver Wren from a few other bloggers and immediately purchased a necklace with my oldest’s initial. It is the cutest necklace! The pendant is a lot smaller than some I have seen, which is exactly what I wanted. The tiny pearl is just the icing on the cake.
She has tons of different styles, lengths and metals to choose from and her shop is so gorgeous. I’ve already gone ahead and made another purchase of the gorgeous threader earrings!
That’s it for February Favorites, friends! Favorites posts are some of my favorite things to read, because I love discovering new products and shops to try. I would love to know what some of YOUR favorite products or purchases were this month!
Happy belated birthday!! I hope you did something fun everyday of the month to celebrate!! Love your recommendation and enjoyed learning more about the Doir foundation. I’ve been looking for new possibilities and this sounds just right. xo Evelyn, PathofPresence.com
These are some awesome recommendations. I especially love the necklace . I love masks as well . I can’t find any of them here in Barbados though . Thank God for online ordering .
I don’t know where I would be without online shopping. Probably a lot richer 😉
I love all your statement pieces for the month of February especially the beautiful necklace 💕💕💕. All your recommendations are so on point 👍👍👍👍
Thank you! <3 Love this necklace, too!
I love all of these recommendations, especially the pendant. I have been looking for one just like it but most are too big for my taste. This one is perfect and I love the pearl!
It was the perfect daily necklace for me. Just understated enough 🙂
That necklace is beautiful! I’ve never heard of it before! Can you personalize it any way??
Yep! She has all different styles and metal types, and she can hand stamp nearly anything on them. So fun!
