I don’t think that it is a secret that I love a glowy, fresh faced makeup look. I am all about the highlight and want that sunlight bouncing off my cheek bones from sun up to sun down. But during the week I like to keep my makeup pretty simple, and as of late I have barely had time to get ready in the mornings.
Enter my current five minute face! One brush, just a few products, and maximum glow. There is just something so pretty about juicy, hydrated skin when it is bone chilling outside. I need to be a little extra, even when things are kept minimal.

If I could only have one makeup brush in my collection, this $4 brush would be it. It is the perfect density for pretty much everything! It is great for cream products and powders alike. And it is the only brush I am going to use!
I start off by adding a drop or two of these Cover FX Custom Enhancer Dropsto my foundation. I use the shade “Moonlight” and they give the most beautiful glow. They look really metallic straight out of the bottle, but don’t worry! They will be just fine once mixed it.
The It Cosmetics CC Cream is my favorite when I want customizable coverage. It is easily buildable, but can go on quite sheer when you use a fluffy brush. It’s great for both oily and dry skin types. I am in the shade light.
I mix the glow drops and just one pump of the cc cream together and swirl it lightly over my skin for a super natural but flawless look. For a bit more coverage, I will just massage it right into my skin with the glow drops using my fingertips.
This is my favorite “no make up” concealer. It is full coverage, but looks so natural. It is leaps and bounds better than Shape Tape, I promise! Same fluffy brush as I used with the foundation, I lightly sweep it under my eyes to brighten up the dark circles. It doesn’t crease as the day goes on, but if you get oily, feel free to set it with a loose powder.
Tarte Taretist Pro Glow Highlight and Contour Palette
I have used and abused this highlight and contour palette from Tarte. It has a few different highligh shade, an INCREDIBLE cream bronzer and a really neutral toned powder bronzer. It is great for travel!
I blend the cream bronzer onto my face in a B and 3 shape, to give some dimension to my forehead, cheekbones and jawline
This is without a doubt THE BEST BROW PENCIL ever. Not only is it four bucks, it is very neutral toned, lasts all day and goes on even better than some of it’s more expensive counterparts. I don’t think I will ever buy a different brow pencil!
The color Ash Brown is what I use and it is perfect!
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise
I can’t lie, I love a good drugstore mascara. The Lash Paradise is by far my favorite at the moment! It doesn’t transfer to my under eyes or up on my lids and gives TONS of volume to my short and stubby lashes.
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anita
I have repurchased the Audacious Lipstick in Anita multiple times and it just keeps getting better. It is a bit of a splurge but it is the PERFECT my lips but better shade.
I like to pop just a little bit of this onto the same fluffy brush I used for my foundation, concealer and contour and add it right to the apple of my cheeks!
