I talk a lot about getting the most out of your closet. I love to shop and bring new things into my home, but I honestly don’t have much space. Living in New York makes you really conscious about what you choose to hang on to!
I recently go this new duster from Loft and was so excited to bring it home. But as soon as I went to put it away, I noticed how similar it was to my favorite J Crew Sweater duster. Could I justify having both taking up precious space in my sweater drawer?
I decided to put the two to the test and see which one I truly loved most. Surprise! Loft won by a land slide. There is just something a bit more sleek and feminine than the J Crew sweater, and I love the thinner material of the Loft duster.
It doesn’t add bulk like my J Crew sweater does (I should have sized down in the J Crew version). And this Loft sweater is the perfect sand color. It can go from grey to beige, depending on what you pair with it.

Feminine and Flirty
I’m completely obsessed with this outfit. It is everything I want when I wear a dress. Soft, feminine, flattering. And just so dang pretty.
I paired blush colored block heels to pull a bit of the pink out in the dress and the duster tones down the busy print of the dress just enough to make it work for my simple taste.
Classic and Chic
Chambray is my one true love. When I finally found my perfect chambray top, it was like a whole new world opened up for me. There is just something so simple and timeless about chambray and brown leather. It is just yummy!
I am loving how on trend loafers are right now. While a classic style, it always feels nice to be able to indulge in something trendy, knowing that it will last forever.
Cute and Casual
I love love love this outfit. A more relaxed denim with a cute floral top is just everything I want from early spring style. I kept my loafers on for a little bit of a dressy look, but it would also look perfect with a pair of white sneakers.
I’m honestly so glad I grabbed this duster. It is so versatile and it makes me feel fabulous when I wear it.
