As soon as the summer hits, the humidity in the city rises to unbearable levels. I think this is where the phrase “urban jungle” comes from. Either way, when the temperatures rise, I need everything that goes on my body to BREATHE. Linen is my favorite hot weather fabric, and I recently grabbed these cute linen joggers to mix up my wardrobe with.
It is always a little intimidating to add something new to your wardrobe, and I personally hadn’t played around with joggers much. Side note – it is SO hard to find good plus size joggers… Another post for another day! This specific pair I got in one of my month Trunk Club’s, and knew as soon as I put them on that I would be keeping them.
They are stiff at first, which is the case of most 100% linen pieces. But the more I wear them, the softer and beachier they get. They have this broken in feel now that really makes them feel very Hampton’s chic. They fit true to size, or slightly on the large size. If you are between sizes, size down. They will break in and stretch just a touch. I choose not to dry mine, but wash with my other clothes.

I absolutely love this look. These linen joggers are inherently casual with the fabric and simple fit. But throwing on a beautiful cream sweater and pointed toe flat elevate this just enough to make it totally stylish and fashion forward. With zero frump!

The structure of a crisp white button down with the linen joggers is just so good. It is a good mix of fabrics and textures, but knotting the top keeps it from feeling too stuffy

Another Trunk Club find, this striped tank is a linen cotton blend, and it is SO light and breezy. This would be such a great outfit for running around town on those super hot days when you don’t want to be wearing a dress or a skirt. These mules from Target are a favorite purchase for me, this season.

I went back and forth with this tank top, and this is the outfit that sold me on keeping it. I love pairing the bright colored, fitted sweater tank with these loose, casual joggers. They just pair perfectly together, and I love everything about it. Birks are a must in the summer, and I recently added this Gizeh pair to my closet and LOVE them. So comfortable, supportive, and the slight metallic finish makes them a little cuter than traditional Birkenstock’s.

And then there are days, where you just want to be casual AF. This is the outfit for those times. Make sure your white tee is fitted and bright. It makes all the difference! As does a clean pair of white sneakers! Keep it fresh, girl.

Unfortunately, this chambray shirt is sold out, but you could use any chambray shirt hanging in your closet. I love throwing in a pop of color with this yellow bag against all of these neutrals. It keeps things fun and interesting.
