For a while now, I have been on the hunt for a dress to add to my wardrobe to break out for date nights and other occasions that don’t include wiping boogers and convincing my five year old to please take one more bite. I was eyeing up the Elizabeth Suzanne website after researching sustainable, inclusive fashion and immediately fell in love everything about the brand and their mission.

It isn’t an easy feet to find plus size styles in ethical fabrics made sustainably. And it is even more surprising when you SEE plus size bodies in this space. While browsing the ES website, I was floored by the amount of diversity displayed right on the home page.
Color. Age. Shape. Style. I felt seen.
I am so impressed with the mission and vision that Elizabeth Suzanne promotes. They are the epitome of slow fashion. Each piece is hand made to order, instead of sitting idly in a showroom or warehouse, hoping to be purcahsed. All of their fabrics are high quality, natural fabrics that are meant to just get better with time and wear.
Elizabeth Suzanne is pushing hard to reduce waste in the fashion industry and push hard for a change in the way we shop. Promoting mindfulness and timelessness over trends and single use statement pieces.

I hope one day I get to make a trip down to their studio in Nashville where they hand craft and design each of the beautiful pieces they make. They have a studio tour on their website, and it looks like THE COOLEST most peaceful place to work. Dreams!
