A few years back, I never would have dreamed of wearing a leather moto jacket for a day, let alone shelling out a few hundred bucks for the real thing. But now a days, my leather jackets are true staples in my wardrobe and I love wearing them with pretty much anything!
I don’t think there are too many hard and fast rules to wearing a moto jacket, which makes styling them extra fun. I generally abide by the rule of not pairing my black leather jacket with other black leather. It can get a little too biker too quick. But other than that, it is pretty much free reign!
You also don’t have to buy a true leather jacket. There are some really good faux leather dupes out there at great price points. But be picky with your faux leather! If it looks a little plastic to you, it will probably come off the same to others.

Keep It Casual
I love using my moto jacket to pull together pajamas, ok “athleisure.” This is how I would rock my joggers to school drop off, running to the store, or heading to girl’s night at a friend’s house. Cozy, cute, with some sass.
Tone Down Bold Prints and Colors
I’m not generally one to gravitate towards bold colors and prints, but this purple sweater called my name. I feel much more like myself when I through my leather jacket on top to tone down a little bit of the bright color.
Edgy Feminine
I love to wear skirts and dresses, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I want to be girly all the time. I much prefer a cooler, more relaxed look to feminine and flirty. I love throwing a moto jacket on top of a super girly dress to edge it up a little. And sneakers, obviously!
Leather and Leopard
Leopard pairs with leather is a match made in heaven. Both are trendy, chic, and just so much fun to wear. I like wearing leopard, because you can bridge the gap with black and brown easily. These wide leg cords are some of the only wide leg pants that I have found that feel and look good on my body.
Sexy Date Night
This dress is one of my favorite things in my closet right now. It just makes me feel so beautiful and like a bad ass goddess. Throwing on a pair of heels with a moto jacket instantly ups the sexiness. I like to wear a suede black shoe, just to make sure there isn’t too much leather in your face.
