These are the ones for me! After buying three different flat black boots that went over the knee, I finally found the boots that fit around my calves AND my thighs without slipping down.
I’m so excited to style them for you (and me!) a few different ways. An over the knee boot can be a whole lot of look, especially if you get a little bit of a heel action in there. Things can turn Pretty Woman real quick, and that isn’t really the look I am going for on the daily.
Before we get into the outfits, I want to talk about these specific boots. If you have been around since the fall, you probably took advantage of my Thick Girls’ Boot Guide, that included a huge amount of wide calf boots. These are wide calf and have a wide width option!
I grabbed the 11 regular, and really wish the 11W had been in stock, as those would have been great for me. I would suggest for sizing, to go up half a size! Or if you are between a regular and a wide width shoe, go for the wide. The best thing about these is they are free shipping and FREE RETURNS! So, if they don’t work for you, you can always send them back.

Over the knee boots are very tricky to fit. Mainly because you want them snug through your calf and knee, and everyone is shaped differently! Many wide calf OTK boots didn’t work for my legs, but these are great. They have a bit of stretch to them, so they were easy to pull on, even over my jeans.
These particular boots also have a bungee type cord that allows you to tighten the top. For some reason, they strings are a little long, but I just tuck them right into the boots and you can’t see them at all!
These are not boots that are going to last you ten years. But I can easily see getting a few seasons out of them. At the price point, you really can’t go wrong!
To be completely transparent, I decided to send these back after doing my styling session ONLY because of the size issue. I need a size up or the wide width. I have put an alert on for when they come back in stock in my size!
Sadly this dress is sold out now!
