It has been a hot minute since I had anything from Glossier in my makeup stash. I have been through a few products in the past, but as we have moved over the last few years, I have forgotten, lost or gotten rid of a few things. I was really wanting some more relaxed, fresh, barely there makeup options now that we are home so much, and I knew Glossier would be the place to go.
I absolutely love a few skin care bits from the brand, but had only tried a few of their makeup options. Giving a breakdown of everything I grabbed from the range.

FUTURE DEW
Future Dew is the marketed as the “last step in your skin care routine.” It is a hydrating oil based serum meant to add glow and moisture to your skin prior to applying makeup. It does exactly what it says on the thin, and gives my skin the glowiest sheen with zero shimmer or sparkle. I love wearing this with zero makeup or under any foundation.
PERFECTING SKIN TINT
This is probably the lightest weight “foundation” you will find. It is super thin and sheer, making it great for no make up days. It doesn’t really offer any coverage, but does even out the skin tone just a bit. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants to look like they are have great skin when they don’t. This is for those who embrace the imperfections or have perfect 20 year old skin already. I wear the shade G9.
BOY BROW
If there is one thing Glossier does right, it is brow products. Hands down, the Boy Brow and the Brow Flick are easily my favorite products ever from Glossier. Boy Brow is a tinted brow gel with a medium hold. It doesn’t make your eyebrows feel hard to glued down, but keeps the hairs tamed while adding just a hint of color. I like my brows dark and bold, and went with the color black.
BROW FLICK
If you only buy one product from Glossier, let it be the Brow Flick. This is like microblading in a pen and is so easy to use. There is a little learning curve, but a light hand and the right color will give you the full, Brook Shields brows you have always dreamed of. Again, I chose the shade black, but could have easily done brown.
GENERATION G LIPSTICK
I neither love or hate this lipstick. It is one that I will easily forget and probably won’t repurchase. While this sounds like a terrible thing, it isn’t! It is a great lipstick, I just don’t find it to be note worthy. A sheer, buildable color with a matte like finish. I find it clings to dry patches and doesn’t really offer much in terms of hydration. I just have other lipsticks I like WAY more than this one. I have tried the colors Zip, Cake and Crush.
CLOUD PAINT
Easily one of my favorite products, Cloud Paints are very light cream blushes that are just STUNNING. Think of water color for the face, these blushes give a gorgeous wash of color that easily blends and is incredibly forgiving. A little goes a long way and these will last you ages! I love all of the colors I own. Dusk, Haze and Puff. Dusk is the most neutral, and a great starting point! Best applied with fingers or a duo fiber stippling brush.
STRETCH CONCEALER
Stretch Concealer is hands down my favorite natural concealer. The one that applies like a dream, gives you just enough of light under the eyes to wake up your face, but doesn’t make you feel like you need to do a full face to blend it all together. Highly recommend grabbing a lighter shade for under your eyes and a shade to match your skin for the most flawless, natural, dewy no make up makeup look! Love to apply this under the eyes and all over the face with a small, fluffy brush.
THE BALM.COM
Truly don’t know how many of The Balm.com’s I have gone through over the years. It was my first product from Glossier, and such a good handbag lip balm! It is light weight and super hydrating, but doesn’t leave a stick film on the lips as it wears down. Just get the Birthday Cake, Coconut or Rose scent and thank me later.
Glossier does lots of bundles on their site, offering you a discount for buying coordinating products together, something I wish more retailers would do. They also offer eco friendly packaging, which I think is AMAZING! Normally, they ship to you in a cute, hot pink zip top bag that is reusable with some fun decals and stickers, but if you have ordered multiple times, you really don’t need to have that fluff over and over again.
I have been using Glossier for a few years, but I forgot how much I loved their products until reordering. Not that anyone “needs” makeup right now, but they do make for a great quarantine makeup look – no makeup makeup days are it for the foreseeable future!
Have you tried anything from Glossier? Would love to know what else you would recommend from the brand! If you want, I can do a separate post all about my Glossier skin care favorites! Let met me know in the comments! <3
