HOLIDAY BEAUTY GIFT GUIDE

I don’t know how I feel about posting my first gift guide of the season in October, but I would be lying if I said I hadn’t already starting holiday shopping. I always like to get my gifts done early, or at least have my lists made. Giving gifts stresses me out, and I always struggling finding THE PERFECT gift for those people I love.

Sephora’s VIB sale is coming up soon, and I wanted to share my favorite beauty gifts that I think are worth snagging this year for the product junkie in your life. I love getting makeup, skincare, and all things beauty as a gift, and I think it is a really easy gift to give.

With sets that provide sample sizes, you don’t have to stress about whether it is the exact item a friend may or may not like or need for their skin type/tone. It allows a little extra freedom and experimentation for the giftee to get creative and maybe try something they wouldn’t normally. Sample sizes let you get a good idea of if you want a product or not, so gifting some fun minis and maybe even a gift card on top to purchase their favorite one is such an awesome gift idea.

There are so many great sets out there, but my guide is based on things that I personally have tried, tested and fallen in love with. There isn’t any junk or filler in this guide, and you can rest assured that all of these gifts have the Maddy G seal of approval.

• GREAT BROW BASICS SET by Benefit Cosmetics – If anyone does brows well, it is Benefit. This set provides everything you need to achieve your wildest brow dreams.
• LASHSTASH SET by Sephora – I buy one of these every year for myself! I don’t generally splurge on high-end mascara, but I love trying all of these minis and they are so great for travel. You could even split it up into two or three gifts with a $30 gift card and give to multiple friends.
• GIVE ME MORE LIPSTICK SET by Sephora – This is the same a the above but in lipstick form. I LOVE lipstick, and this is a great way to try some of the best selling products without worrying about wasting an entire tube.
• AMBIENT LIGHTING FACE PALETTE by Hourglass Cosmetics – My Hourglass palette from last year is probably the most used item in my stash. It has every powder you need for a full face, and their setting powders make me weak in the knees. This year’s palette includes my all-time favorite blush, making it even more amazing.
• MINI ICONIC MATTE REVOLUTION TRIO by Charlotte Tilbury – Pillow Talk is my most worn lipstick ever, and this set lets you try three of Charlotte Tilbury’s best sellers.
• SUGAR LIP KIT GIFT SET by Fresh – These lip balms are ungodly expensive, but they are SO GOOD. I love gifting these because they are one item I will almost never splurge on myself.
• BESTIES MAKEUP SPONGE AND CLEANSER by Beauty Blender – The Solid Cleanser from Beauty Blender is how I like to clean my brushes, and you get a beauty blender and a cleanser for the cost of just a beauty blender!
• HEAVY DOSE ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY by Urban Decay – This is my all-time favorite setting spray, the one I just can’t get away from. I will always go back to this. It keeps my makeup on “all night.” For real.

HAIR AND FRAGRANCE GIFTS

• DISCOVERY SET by Maison Louis Marie – The scents from Maison Louis Marie are so good. I recently started wearing perfume on a regular basis again, and they have the sexiest smells while also being clean and not too overpowering. I love gifting a sampler set so that others can find their favorite.
• THE BIG BUTTERCUP BUNDLE by DryBar – I have this hairdryer and LOVE it. It took me forever to invest in a nicer dryer, and it makes such a difference. It has a lot of power but doesn’t get too hot that I worry my hair is going to burn off.
• JET SETTER KIT by Rahua – This brand is new to me, but I have tried the shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream and am blown away. My curls look SO good!
• NO 4 PERFUME, CANDLE, AND OIL SET by Maison Louis Marie – This is by far my favorite fragrance. I bought the candle first and fell so deeply in love I then went and grabbed the perfume. This would make such a great gift for a bougie friend.
• DON’T DISPAIR, REPAIR SET by Briogeo – Love this brand, love what they stand for, and their products are top-notch.
