It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Yes, I sang that out loud as I typed. It isn’t Christmas yet, but the annual Sephora Holiday Savings Event is upon us, which is MY favorite time of the year. Beauty is one of those things that doesn’t go on sale all too often, so when this sale hits, I take advantage!
The Holiday Savings Event is for any of Sephora’s Beauty Insiders. This is their free rewards program that anyone can sign up for. Even if you have never joined in the past, you still get a chance to take advantage of the savings! There are three tiers, broken up by how much you spend in a year.
ROUGE – 20% OFF FROM 10/30 – 11/9
VIB – 15% OFF FROM 11/3 – 11/9
BEAUTY INSIDER – 10% OFF FROM 11/5 – 11/9
I am *shamefully* a Rouge member this year, and it is my first year hitting that. I’m not sure what that says about me, but I am rolling with it and showing gratitude for the discount! Here are the details of the sale.
In order to shop the sale, you will need to be logged into your Sephora account and use the code: HOLIDAYFUN at checkout.
I could probably write a 100-page dissertation on my favorite Sephora products in every single category, but I am going to keep this post to the BEST of the BEST. If you are looking for more recommendations, just head to the beauty tab!

SKINCARE FAVORITES
- FARMACY GREEN CLEAN CLEANSING BALM – I don’t think I can say anything more about this one. Always repurchasing.
- SUPERGOOP GLOWSCREEN – My favorite sunscreen! It works great as a glowy primer. Even in the winter, you should be wearing sunscreen daily!
- SUMMER FRIDAYS CC ME VITAMIN C SERUM – I just finished my first bottle of this, and already repurchased it. I love how lightweight it is!
- THE LORD JONES ACID MANTLE REPAIR CREAM– This is my moisturizer of choice in the evenings as of late. It is super hydrating without being greasy. LOVE.
- OLE HENRIKSEN GLOW2OH DARK SPOT TONER – I’ve talked about this often, but my favorite chemical exfoliant! I use it daily, though if you were new to acids, you will want to start slow with two or three times a week.
- BIOSSANCE SQUALANE + VITAMIN C ROSE OIL – This is the best facial oil. A little goes a long way, and you will have one bottle for months!
- INDIE LEE COQ-10 TONER – This is the most refreshing spray out there. I didn’t think that I would be blown away by a hydrating toner, but it has moved to one of my top beauty products of 2020.
- SUMMER FRIDAYS JET LAG MASK – Always in my cupboard, I use this as a hydrating mask or as an overnight sleeping mask when my skin needs an extra boost.
- FRESH UMBRIA CLAY PORE PURIFYING MASK – This is pricy for a clay mask, but it is super gently on the skin while still being really effective. And it smells heavenly.
- BELIF THE TRUE CREAM AQUA BOMB – One of my top three moisturizers. It has a gel-like texture but is hands down one of the most hydrating products I have used on my skin!
MAKEUP FAVORITES
- NARS SOFT MATTE FOUNDATION – Favorite foundation of the year! Beautiful, flawless coverage that can start as medium but easily builds to full coverage.
- HOURGLASS VANISH CONCEALER – If you need full coverage and are over the age of 25, this is your concealer. It is super hydrating, sets well with a powder, and lasts all day.
- CHARLOTTE TILBURY AIRBRUSH FLAWLESS LONGWEAR FOUNDATION – This is such a great foundation if you are looking for full coverage and lasting power.
- LAURA MERCIER CAVIAR STICKS – These beauties are worth every penny. If I am wearing eyeshadow lately, there is a good chance it is a combo of a few of these!
- NARS POWERMATTE PIGMENT – My ride or die long-wear lipstick. I love the shade Warm Leatherette for autumn!
- HOURGLASS VEIL TRANSLUCENT SETTING POWDER – This is a $$$ powder, but it lasts forever, even if you use it to bake! I buy one each year and it lasts all 12 months.
- MILK HYDROGRIP CONCEALER – Current favorite primer! Makes my makeup last all day.
- BENEFIT MICROFILLING BROW PEN – If you have sparse brows or like the look of a natural brow, this pen gives the most perfect brow strokes.
- MAKEUP BRUSHES – My recent post on my favorites has quite a few from Sephora that are worth the splurge this season.
- CHARLOTTE TILBURY MATTE REVOLUTION LIPSTICK – Two words. Pillow Talk. It is the most talked about lipstick for a reason. Just do it.
HAIR FAVORITES
- BUTTERCUP BLOWDRYER BUNDLE – LOVE my Buttercup Dryer for both straight and curly hair.
- OLAPLEX NO 3 – Absolutely repurchasing this. You can check out my full review here.
- BRIOGEO BE GENTLE, BE KIND AVOCADO + KIWI HAIR MASK – This is my favorite product to use when doing my hair curly. I use it as a conditioner on myself on days when I am doing my hair curly, and it is the only product I use for my oldest’s beautiful curls.
- LIVING PROOF PERFECT HAIR DAY DRY SHAMPOO – Best ever.
- MOROCCANOIL TREATMENT – This is newer to me, but I have been using this treatment for about two months now and love the way it makes my hair feel. Plus it smells amazing.

EXTRAS
- SHISHEIDO FACIAL COTTON – Hear me out. Yes, these are super boujie and over the top. But they are SO luxe and aren’t THAT much more expensive than traditional cotton pads when you break it down, especially when they are on sale.
- MAISON LOUIS MARIE NO 4 CANDLE – Beautiful gift. For someone else, or yourself.
- REPLICA BY THE FIREPLACE CANDLE – If you want to sex up the smell of your home in the classiest, most expensive smelling way, this candle is it.
- HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING FACE PALETTE – SCULPTURE – This is a want, not a need for me. But it WILL be mine.
- OLAPLEX HOLIDAY HAIR FIX KIT – I am going to be buying this instead of the solo Olaplex No 3! It comes with three additional products, and is a great deal.
- HERBIVORE COCONUT MILK BODY SCRUB – I have been using this twice a week lately and OMG. I love it so much. It smells incredible and leaves my skin feeling super soft, but not covered in oil like some scrubs so.
- NÉCESSAIRE THE BODY LOTION – I drank the KoolAid and don’t know if I can go back.
- HOLIDAY GIFT FAVORITES – Check out my post with the best of the best holiday sets at Sephora!
I would love to know what you are grabbing in this year’s sale. I will mostly be shopping for gifts this year, some skin care top ups, and a few splurges for myself.
Happy shopping! <3
I just wanted to tell you how much I adore you! I’ve been rid of social media for 3 weeks but had to google you. Thanks Mr G for that gift list. Our husbands would for sure get along! Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!
Right back at ya, Crystal! Happy holidays!
Thanks for the recommendations! Do you still use/recommend Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid treatment? Or, are you using something different?
Also would like to say I really enjoy following you on IG – stylish, funny, genuine, a beauty inside and out! And I enjoy peeping your life in NYC which I miss visiting dearly.
So sorry I missed your comment, Marie! I love Sunday Riley Good Genes! I have just been trying a few other things, but it is a product I continue to repurchase over and over. Thanks for your kind words! <3
Maddie: Love this round up. You always give your honest opinion re: the products and prices. I love that!
Is the Buttercup blow dryer heavy?
Thanks for all you do!
Kelly
Hey, Kelly! The Buttercup dryer is a “little” heavy, but it doens’t bother me. It definitely isn’t the lightest on the market, but it is super powerful!
