I had heard of Beauty Pie around the skincare and makeup world, particularly from a few UK bloggers I follow and trust wholeheartedly. I was so excited to give them a try when they reached out to partner together, and I am super stoked to share more about the brand with you guys. It is such a cool concept, and even though I am a new member, I am already a full-on convert.
Beauty Pie is a luxury beauty product buyers club. Think Costco, but for luxury beauty! Beauty Pie cut out the middle man of marketing and retailers in order to give us access to high performance and quality beauty products at COST, with none of the markups you typically pay for.
The brilliant creation of Marcia Kilgore, a heavy lifter in the beauty world and creator of some seriously awesome brands, like Soap and Glory. She says that this was an idea in the back of her mind for nearly her entire career of entrepreneurship. After spending years negotiating products accounting for 70% of the price consumers pay, with markups of nearly 10X their cost, she wanted to do something different for the industry and make luxury beauty affordable.
Just like Costco, they make the majority of their money via membership dues since they don’t have the traditional markup that most beauty brands have. You can sign up for different tiers, depending on how much of an “allowance” you want to have to spend each month. The $10 per month tier is perfect for almost any beauty enthusiast who wants to try the brand out. You can always up your allowance by changing your tier if you find products you love.
Check out the different tiers here, including the annual pass! You can use the code MADDYSENTME for an extra $50 spending allowance!
WHAT I’M TRYING FROM BEAUTY PIE
When I made my first order, I grabbed most of my items from the “Member Favorites” section since I was new to the brand. They have so many products that look amazing. It was hard to narrow it down!
IMMEDIATE STANDOUTS
I’ve been super into masking lately, and the Oxygen Instant Facial Refuelling Mask is amazing. It is a quick 15-minute mask that kind of does it all! It brightens up my complexion, hydrates my skin, and also helps clear up breakouts. It would be sold in stores at $60, but is only $18.70 for members. I take it all the way down to my chest, and my hormonal skin has been loving this treat.
With spring and warm weather finally showing up, I had to give the Ultra Light Daily SPF 30 Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen a go. I’m very picky about SPF, but I LOVE this sunscreen. It is super lightweight and feels like a soothing moisturizer on the skin. It doesn’t feel like there is a film sitting on my skin and doesn’t have any noticeable scent to it. I’ve been wearing it exclusively, and it layers great under makeup and on its own. It hasn’t caused any breakouts, either! Huge plus!
I’m a sucker for a good candle and cannot say enough about the Bitter Orange Luxury Scented Candle. I didn’t even have to open the shipping box, and I could smell it in all its glory. It’s fresh and warm at the same time and throws the scent through the entire room when lit. This is totally a candle I would pay retail for at $60, but is only $19.14 with your membership!
EVEN MORE TO LOVE
You didn’t think I would try a new brand and not test the cleansing balm, did you? The Beauty Pie Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm is glorious. It feels incredibly luxurious on the skin and removes makeup like a dream. It emulsifies beautifully when you add water and is a great first cleanse in my routine.
An exfoliating toner pad is a staple in my routine, and the Dr Glycolic Multi-Acid Micropeeling Pads are both gentle and effective. They utilize both Glycolic and natural plant AHA’s to exfoliate while also including Niacinamide to keep skin hydrated. I’ve been using these in the mornings to keep my skin super glowy and fresh. The fact that these would retail at $32 but are only $11.07 with a membership blows my mind.
I’m trying out the Super Healthy Skin Daily Vitamin C Defense Serum. I’m going to have to report back on results after using this for a bit longer, but I love the ingredient list and the reviews seem to speak for themselves!
Fragrance is super personal, but Beauty Pie has something for everyone. I’ve been very into more unique scents lately, and the Brazilian Lime, Fig Leaves & Tea Eau de Parfum hits all the spots for me. The top notes are very fresh and bright, with very warm and musky undertones. It is such a great fragrance for transitioning into spring, and Mr. G always compliments me when I put it on! I like to grab travel sizes when buying fragrance, and the member price of this one is only $15.46!
I’m really excited to keep diving into Beauty Pie’s affordable, luxury products. I know I will find some forever favorites as I keep testing and trying new items. The membership is worth it for the candles and fragrance alone, but the skincare and makeup options are where the best of the best savings are at! Don’t forget to use MADDYSENTME for an extra $50 allowance!
