This room has seriously been such a long time. I have overthought, changed my mind, and bought and returned so many things because I just couldn’t nail down exactly what I wanted. Until now. And I am fully obsessed with the entire thing. I LOVE it so much! It has been a true labor of love.
This post is in partnership with Walmart Home.
I really wanted to keep a bit of the modern vibe we had before while incorporating a few transitional pieces, a dash of boho and maybe even a hint of eclectic style. Very different from my normal M.O., but I was ready for a change!
I have been collecting little things over the past few months, and when I was searching Walmart’s website for the final touches, I found these dishes from Thyme and Table and just *knew* they were it. Walmart Home is such a great spot to look for pieces for the home. They have some beautiful finds at amazing prices.

First thing I grabbed are these dishes. Each piece is a good weight stoneware. They are dishwasher and microwave safe and add such a fun pop to my table! I know that a solid white set of dishes is the fall back, but going for something a bit different and bold felt like an easy way to bring some excitement to our home and dining area without a ton of commitment. Plus, the black, white, and gold is just so easy to style.
Growing up, we always had a silverware caddy on the table, with forks, spoons, and napkins. I really wanted to create an updated version of this, but found we didn’t really have enough silverware to make this happen. Walmart Home has a huge variety of cutlery, and I went for this simple black set that contrasts from our standard silverware. It makes it easy to keep separate and is so chic!
Here are a few affordable finds to recreate this look!

The last piece to bring everything together was this rug. It is completely out of my norm and has a vintage, Oashak look to it I really wanted to bring some warmth to the space and even a little color, so this terracotta rug was perfect!

I am honestly just beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. I don’t often feel like I get it right when it comes to home decor, but this space finally feels complete!
I love the pattern mixing you did with the bowls and plates. So chic.
