There is so much to be said for taking care of yourself. It means something different for everyone, but I take so much pleasure in my beauty routine. From skincare to makeup, to taking daily supplements. I partnered today with Olly to share my personal beauty routine from the inside that makes me feel like my best self on the outside.
HYDRATE
It seems simple, but during those early days postpartum I easily would forget to drink any water until late in the afternoon. Then, it was a constant catch-up. Now, I make sure to drink an entire glass of water first thing in the morning. Before coffee. It is one of those starts the day off on the right foot moves that keep the forward trajectory going!
SUPPLEMENTS
I’ve been taking a few supplements daily from Olly to bring out the beauty within. I have been taking Olly’s Prenatal with DHA’s and Folic Acid daily for two years now. And while this isn’t new to me supplement, if I ever fall off the wagon, I start to notice immediately in my nails. The Prenatals do so much for me, by providing me with a good solid base. The Omega 3’s are great for skin and the Vitamin D adds some great glow.
When my youngest was born, I really wanted to be proactive about taking care of myself postpartum. I knew I wasn’t going to be up to a full beauty routine, so I started up the Collagen Gummy Rings to really nourish my skin from the inside. They use Bioactive Collagen Peptides to boost elasticity and improve the appearance of fine lines.
And lastly, I am taking Olly’s Ultra Strength Hair Softgels. I have always had fine hair, and I had quite a bit of hair loss thanks to some stress and hormones. But my hair is growing back in SO quickly. I am honestly so impressed and glad that I have these in my routine to help support healthy and strong hair.
SLEEP
This isn’t one that I can guarantee, thanks to a little baby who loves to snuggle. But getting a good night’s sleep works wonders for my skin. And sanity! I set myself up for a good night’s sleep with comfy pj’s (matching ones for extra credit), at least 15 minutes of reading before hitting the sack, and a glass of water bedside.
What are some things you do for yourself each day to let the beauty within shine through?
