It is absolutely no secret that I am a huge Sol de Janeiro fan. I tried the Bum Bum Cream a few years ago, and never really looked back. Bum Bum Cream
The Bum Bum Cream (pronounced “BOOM BOOM”) is what Sol de Janeiro is most known for. I remember when I first saw it in Sephora. The iconic yellow packaging immediately caught my eye, and the rich, salted caramel smell is so addictive! Bum Bum Cream has caffeine rich guarana, açaí oil, and coconut oil to visibly smooth the skin. It has just the slightest hint of shimmer, almost undetectable, but it really makes the skin glow.
Bom Dia Bright Cream
Picking a favorite moisturizer from Sol de Janeiro is like picking a favorite child. So hard. But Bom Dia Bright Cream miiiiight inch ahead of the others for me. I have raved about my love of it before here, but I can’t speak its praises enough.
Bom Dia Bright Cream is a retexturizing and moisturizing daily moisturizer with AHA’s and vitamin C. After using it continually for a few weeks, it really transformed my skin and left me feeling smoother and softer with a much more even skin tone. It gently exfoliates while hydrating, and has the most beautiful, vanilla scent.
Coco Cabana Cream
I just recently was able to try out the Coco Cabana Intense Hydration Cream and wow! It is so lush! Both of the other creams from Sol de Janeiro are super hydrating, but the Coco Cabana Cream takes it to the next level. The CocoSugar blend is a natural humectant that attracts moisture to the skin. It also has Cupuaçu Butter support the skin’s elasticity and lock in hydration. This is the best cream to apply post shower to really maximize moisture!
Before I started down the path of accepting my body (and entire being) as it was, I would avoid touching my body. to the point where I skipped moisturizer. Like, I would NEVER put lotion, cream or anything on my skin. Even in the depths of winter. It was so dry, rough, and neglected. I knew that I needed to actively make a switch and start to treat my body with the respect and care it deserved. Otherwise, how else would I learn to love it?
