For as long as I can remember, at the beginning of the summer I write out a bucket list with all of the fun things I want to do. It leaves me with something to do every single weekend. I never get the feeling like I am missing out, because I know I am doing all the exciting activities I have planned out. By the end of the season, I would maybe have only checked of half of the list. But, man, did it feel good.
Now that I have my oldest, my list looks a little different – way more fun! I have a goal to check off all.the.things. this year! Somehow, there are always a few things left on the list that I am sad I missed out on. I wanted to put together a roundup of the best summer bucket list ideas to do with your kids to get you started on your own! I promise it will make those summer days with kids home from school go much faster. And you won’t end the summer filled with regret about the sunny days wasted!

What great ideas! Some of these are even fun for adults! Definitely got some inspiration on what to do this summer in my city!
This is SUCH a great list, I think you touched upon everything! I live in Upstate NY and definitely want to try some of these ideas. I have some trips planned downstate this summer!
This is such a lovely list and there’s so much to do in New York I see. I live in LA and I’m sure I could find some of these same thing in Los Angeles. I actually have never been to the zoo and I live pretty close to it!
Great list! x
