I am always looking for any excuse to go a little ham on the eyeshadow and rock a bold lip. Over Christmas, I got a few fun makeup goodies in my stocking. I knew as soon as I saw them, that I was going to rock a pretty glam look for New Year’s Eve.
There aren’t many occasions where I think you can do a bold, smokey eye with a bright lip color. But holidays are the perfect time to go a little above and beyond your every day or night makeup routine. I used a lot more products, but absolutely love the effect I got!
I wanted to give you two options for this look, so I also grabbed my favorite nude lip. Nothing sexier then a nude lip, and a gloss is much easier to manage over the course of a long night.

Cover FX
I start off by moisturizing my face and popping a few drops of the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in the shade Moonlight. You look a bit like the tin man for a hot minute, but the lit from within glow after you apply foundation is just gorgeous.
Bare Minerals
This Bare Pro Liquid Foundation is my favorite foundation when I want a more full coverage look that is going to last for hours. It isn’t thick or drying on my skin, but still looks bomb after some dancing.
Nars
The best concealer for full coverage with no cake. This Nars concealer is brightening under the eyes and covers blemishes like nothing else. The shade Créme Brulee is perfect for me.

I’ve been loving a more natural brow lately and just brushing this brow gel through my brows. Anything to cut down on time, right?
Two Faced
Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer
This bronzer in the shade “Chocolate” is perfect for a contour. It has zero shimmer and has just enough ash to keep things looking natural and chiseled.
Hourglass
Mood Exposure is my go to blush for almost any look. It gives the perfect flush to the cheeks. Not too peachy, not too pink. Just the right barely there cheek color.
Charlotte Tilbury
I’ve been dying to get one of these palettes since they came out, but just never justified buying one. My husband surprised me with the Dolce Vita palette for Christmas, and I am obsessed.
Sephora
Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick
I harp on and on about this liquid lipstick, but it is the best red out there. The perfect shade, not too pink, not too orange. It makes your teeth super white and lasts for hours!
Buxom
This is the best lip gloss if you want plump, Victoria’s Secret Angel lips. It does tingle A LOT when you first put it on, but it goes away pretty quickly.
