Something happened in the last year, and I got old. I’m only partially joking. I think when you firmly move into your mid 30’s, something snaps and you see a ton of change in your face. I feel like sometimes I don’t even recognize myself. With all that being said, none of my old standby favorites were working for my anymore. Naturally, I switched up my makeup routine completely and found a ton of amazing products.

Sunscreen
cay skin isle glow spf 45
I wish I could make everyone run and buy this SPF. It is true perfection in a bottle. I use this as the final step in my skin care routine and as my morning moisturizer. It has an almost nonexistent scent, a whipped like texture, and the slightest hint of tint. It leaves your skin super Chloe and protected from the sun!
Primer
Yummy skin serum
I’m going to go ahead and bite my words on this. I used to never use a primer, and now I will not put foundation on without one. This is the best for dry, dehydrated skin. It has hyaluronic acid to boost hydration and it helps keep my skin plump and juicy throughout the day. I put this on right before makeup!

Foundation
surrealskin foundation
I really hate to say it, but this foundation deserves every bit of hope that it is received over the last few months. It is perfection in a bottle, and I don’t know how Mario did it. I purchased the shade “7C” but should have gone with 5N as it is smidge dark. Thankfully, the shades are quit flexible and easy to work with. I only use a pump or two for a very natural, medium coverage.
Concealer
main match concealer
If you’re looking for a new concealer that’s going to work for more mature skin, look no further. This is magical! I’m already on my second tube. I wear the shade “Coco Crush” under my eye for a bit of brightness. It is super pigmented, so you only need a little bit. Which is why it works so well! It’s easy to overdo it, so start small and build to your desired coverage.
Powder
Prisme Libre Loose powder
You probably don’t need to purchase this powder. It is pricey. But… I absolutely love it. I only need to use a tiny bit to set my make up in my T-zone, end it doesn’t leave me cakey or dry.

Contour
Major sculpt duo
I feel like I have a long way to go in the learn how to contour department, but Patrick Ta kind of took all of the guesswork out for me. I bought this in the lightest shade, and it is so easy and forgiving. The cream contour is super blendable and user friendly. I apple the cream before setting with the Prisme Libra Powder and then go over top with the bronzing powder. You will be oh so snatched.
Blush
Baby cheeks blush stick
Cream blush is life. Truly elite. And the Westman Atelier Baby Cheek blushers are dreamy and so creamy! I have two shades, but I’ve found “Petal” to be the perfect shade for any makeup look. Not too pink but still gives the face some life. For a cream blush, I find that it lasts really well and doesn’t wear off patchy.
Brows
Precisely, my brow
I always go back to this pencil, especially when my brows are a little overgrown and need some shaping. The tip is super fine and precise (ha) and Benefit has a ton of color options to get the perfect match. I am loving 4 right now with my darker hair. The pencil makes it really quick to draw tiny little hair strokes!

Eye Shadow
Ombre Première
Using this Chanel eyeshadow makes me feel like a bougie queen, and I love it. Aside from it being a little over the top fancy, it actually works incrdibly well. I don’t want to have to worry about fall out, creasing, or needing to touch up my shadow during the day, and this lasts forever. I use the shade “Undertone”.
Liner
Optic Eoc Gel Eyeliner
Haus Labs has yet to do me wrong and the gel liners are chef’s kiss. Super pigmented, ultra creamy, long wearing. Literally everything you could ask for in a pencil liner! They also don’t budge on me AT ALL.
Lips
lip color lipstick
This is a lipstick I just can’t quit. It is so creamy, and Casablanca is my perfect shade. I also love the color Spanish Pink for a more natural lip color. The packaging is luxe and there is just something special about having a lipstick that makes you feel as beautiful as you are.
That makeup bag looks lovely – does it fit all these products?
I would love a cream/stick eyeshadow comparison.
