If you could peek into my skincare cabinet, you would agree that the last thing I need is another overnight mask targeted at hydration. They are my weakness, and I just can’t keep adding them to my stash. I had seen so many rave reviews about the Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Watefacial, I knew I was going to grab it in the Sephora Spring Sale.
Drunk Elephant is a very “millennial” brand. Focused on clean ingredients and the science behind healthy skin, their packaging is very aesthetically pleasing with product names that are super catchy. They have coined “The Suspicious Six” and talk a lot about what they leave out of their products, as well as what is in them.
In my quest for cleaner skincare, I am working towards understanding more about the products I use. Whether or not they are natural isn’t a huge priority for me. Instead, I am really honing in on the impact ingredients have on my body and what they do for my skin. Drunk Elephant does a great job of explaining why they use what they do!

WHAT IS THE F-BALM WATERFACIAL
F-Balm is an overnight mask used as the last step of your skincare routine. It is super lightweight for how hydrating it is! With a four electrolyte blend and squalane oil, this mask plumps up the skin without leaving it greasy.
The ceramides help to balance the skin while also protecting and improving the skin’s natural barriers and keeping moisture locked in place. What this means, is you want to add this ON TOP of other hydrating products to get the most bang for your buck.
WHO IS F-BALM FOR?
Those with dehydrated skin will love F-Balm. This can include those of you who can get oily throughout the day! You can have oily skin that is dehydrated. If you find your skin looking a little sallow or dull, you may need a boost of moisture!
Personally, I have dry, combo skin. I suffer from hormonal acne, but find that dry patches on my skin happen more often than I would like. Using F-Balm gives me that extra shot of hydration needed to allow my skincare to have a smooth, clean canvas. I notice a big difference in fine lines and the elasticity of my skin when I wake up after using this! It feels almost bouncy!
