When you live in a big city like New York, your stroller is more or less your main source of transportation. The stroller becomes the car! From going to the park, school pick-ups, grocery shopping, you need a stroller that can handle it all. Rain or shine! It can be a little overwhelming to pick out a stroller for any mom, but when you are walking for miles a day, it feels extra intimidating.
I knew from the get-go that I would be going for an UPPABABY VIST V2 stroller, as it really hit all the marks we were looking for.
- BASSINET ATTACHMENT – This was important to me, as our new baby will be spending a lot of time in the stroller when he is little. We have quite the walk to and from school each day, and then we head right into summer! A bassinet was essential for me to make sure he is going comfortable and safe while strolling so often.
- LARGE BASKET – I always took advantage of the under basket in our stroller with my first son, but it wasn’t ever quite big enough. Having two kids, I wanted to make sure I had space for a diaper bag, a soccer ball, a bag for groceries on our way home, and any other random things we managed to pick up while out and about. The UPPAbaby VISTA basket can hold up to 30 lbs!
- OPTIONAL CAR SEAT ATTACHMENT – Having the option to get a car seat that easily clips in and out makes taking a taxi so much easier!
- TALL HANDLE AND EASY TO PUSH – Mr. G and I are both very tall, and the UPPAbaby VISTA’s handlebar can adjust to the perfect height for the two of us. The front wheels rotate and glide along any curbs and bumps and make pushing it a total dream, even when the basket is full!
- EASY TO CLEAN – The VISTA’s fabric is super durable, easy to clean, and if you need to, you can remove it to fully wash the entire thing. Genius for any messes that may happen!
- OPTION FOR SECOND SEAT – Wishful thinking on my end, but I hope to make our next baby happen sooner rather than later. In New York, kiddos use their strollers well into their fourth year, so even if it doesn’t happen right away, knowing I can convert the stroller into a double was a huge pro for me!
There are so many options when it comes to the Vista2, especially when it comes to fabric. It was hard to decide what we wanted to go for, but I knew I wanted something neutral, and I loved the look of the brown leather handlebar. Based on that, I was torn between the Declan, the Stella, and the Grayson. Ultimately, Mr. G and I decided to go for the grey Stella, partially because it will be so easy to clean and hide some of the dirt that comes with living in the city.
Hopefully we can add that second seat to our stroller, but we won’t get ahead of ourselves just yet.

Such a great stroller but also, is this the Target pleated skirt?! This whole look, stroller and all, is adorable!
