I have ALWAYS had super dry, cranky feet. No matter how much I moisturize, they inevitably get calloused and rough within a week of a pedicure. It is a huge insecurity of mine.
Getting to the nail salon hasn’t been a priority since I had a baby, which means I’ve been having to take matters into my own hands with at-home pedicures. But I could never achieve the baby soft heels I got from my amazing salon, even with all the elbow grease in the world.
Enter this miracle duo that has been a life saver.
This callus remover is just like the stuff they use in the salon. It is powerful and does exactly what I need it to on my rough heels. And these pumice stones have lots of texture, making them do the work for you instead of working up a sweat scrubbing.
HOW I SOFTEN ROUGH HEELS
First, you need to give your feet a really good soak. Get the water as hot as you can bare and add your favorite softening body wash or soap. Let your feet soak and get super wrinkly. The longer you soak, the easier it will be to remove the calluses. I usually do 10-15 minutes.
Pat your feet dry, then generous squeeze callus remover onto pumice. Lightly rub over any rough areas, but don’t scrub yet. Allow the solution to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
Now you can start scrubbing, but trust me when I say you won’t have to work too hard. It usually only takes a few quick minutes of gently using the pumice to get super-soft, baby feet. If your heels are really bad, you may need to do another round in a few days, but you will see huge improvements!
Rinse your feet again and dry with a clean towel. You will want to slather your feet in a very thick moisturizer and pop some socks on for an hour or so to let it absorb!
Voila! I will spare you photos of my actual feet, but if you keep the pumice in your shower and give your heels and feet a quick scrub in the shower, you should be able to maintain the results!
I’d actually love a before and after!
Influenced. Add to cart!! My feet thank you!
