Despite it being the middle of January, I am already trying to sort out my spring wardrobe. I made an effort in the fall to create a capsule wardrobe for myself that made me feel good, was easy for mom life, and comfortable! I have always been one of those people with a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear. Not this season! It was a total game changer. I pinned tons of outfits, chose some styles that were my favorites and bought a few staple pieces that could mix and match. Now with Christmas behind us, I feel like I am ready to bust out my flats, pack up my winter coat and add some color into my life. It will be a while before that happens, but I am getting a head start.

Being plus size, it took me a long time to realize that I should still get to feel happy in my clothing. I want to be feminine, casual, put together and comfortable. It takes a lot more work to find cute clothing when you aren’t a standard size you can shop at the mall. But there are so many fabulous retailers out there who are catering to women of all size, thin AND curvy, tall, short and everything in between. Universal Standard and Eloquii are two brands who really get that plus size women deserve to be chic and fashionable. That frumpy clothes and grandma patterns are NOT what we want to be wearing. We have bodies to I really want to do the same things for the coming season. For this spring, I see lots of blush and grey, soft textures, and sneakers. All sneakers, all the time. Because no one can take away my converse or shove my boat feet into an uncomfortable heel. 😉
Here are some of the things I am pinning/buying to start me off. Everything is under 50$ and a ton of them are on even more sale with a discount code. If you plan in advance, you can really curate a great collection without having to spend a fortune!
Tops
Bottoms
Accessories and Shoes
Coats and Jackets
What trends are you adding into your wardrobe when the season changes? Where are your favorite places to shop, that make you leave feeling seen and cared for?

I’m so inspired to put together cute outfits for fall and winter, especially because I pretty much stick to leggings/ skinny pants and jeans with tunics and Boots. I also love a- line dresses in the summer with little sweaters and I stay with the skinny jeans and tunics but wear with flats. But for spring I’m just not sure what to buy. I’m looking for comfy but professional clothes to get me through the months in NY til summer.

I am the same! Fall and winter are so easy with a cardigan. I am on the hunt for some amazing flats for the upcoming season! I wear through them so fast living here! I have made it my goal to wear more dresses. Do you have a favorite place to shop?
