Old Navy is one of those tried and true stores that you can always count on to have something cute, basic and on trend. I have been really wanting to update a few things in my wardobe to brighten it up a bit for the transitional months into spring. I still stay warm and cozy, though, as it will stay extra cold here in the city through March, usually!

I love this cuddly sherpa pull over. It was really soft and super warm! The white with navy detail on the collar makes it a great way to add a little brightness.
The athletic moto leggings are the perfect altheisure piece. Great for working out and for taking your school pick up uniform of leggings and a sweatshirt up a notch.
I layered the pullover on top of this adorable, blush top with a fun keyhole back. It makes it just a bit extra than a standard tee.
I am all about the pop of red lately, and these red chinos are such a fun transitional pant. They would look so cute with a brown leather bootie or a white converse.
A classic striped boat neck shirt is an essential in my closet. Gives a simple outfit a little extra something.
This denim jacket is PERFECT. I mean… I can’t explain how good it is. Perfect color, the fit couldn’t be better. Everyone needs a denim jacket in their life!
Can we talk about how adorable these blazer sweaters are? This is the perfect coat to take you from the super cold into the spring. It is lightweight and unlined, with fabulous structure. It comes in a ton of colors! I tried on the blush and the red, and had a hard time deciding which I liked more.
I love an olive colored pant to mix things up in bottoms. It is so easy to get stuck in a rut with the same dark colored jeans, so I love these.
This purple sweater was probably my favorite thing I tried on (and it definitely came home with me! The color is gorgeous. Multi colored, with speck of blue and pink. I am calling it cotton candy! The fit was great and would even be able to be worn with leggings, as it covers the butt.
I tried on a few pairs of the Rockstar denim, since it seems to be so popular! The fit true to size, but were just a bit stretchier than I prefer. I think I would be pulling my jeans up all afternoon, so I passed on these. Great if you are on a budget, but I would prefer waiting for a good sale at my favorite, Madewell.
What is your favorite way to update your closet for the end of the cold weather? I am definitely feeling the need for bright and cheery colors!
