My love for Anthropologie has only increased in the months since the release of the plus size line, A+. The colors, fabrics, styles and prints just speak to me, and each piece feels even more special than the last.
I did a huge order to find some fall transitional pieces for my closet and may have gone a bit overboard with what I grabbed. There is no way I can keep everything, but I thought I would share the fit and details of the things I got.
True to Anthro, the quality is top notch. Which I expect in this price point. I will go into the fit and detail about each piece below!
The jeans I am wearing are NOT Anthropologie, but Madewell and are linked at the bottom of the post!

This gold skirt was begging for me to order it from the moment it was released. I kept thinking about the holidays and all the autumn colors paired with it.
It is super stretchy, comfortable, and the fabric is nice and thick. I am wearing the size 26, as I didn’t want it too tight around my midsection. I could have worn the 24 just fine, though!
I saw this t-shirt in store and didn’t try it on, because it looked super cropped. But I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I added it to my order and really like it. It is a bit cropped, but not to the point where I can’t tuck it in a bit.
I’m wearing the 3x, and think it fits true to size. You could even size up for a more oversized fit, and it would still look great. The panther on the shoulder is almost velvet and adds some fun texture to an otherwise basic tee.
I was super hopeful about this top, because the colors just scream fall. It is just a bit too cropped for me in this style. I would have liked just another inch or two in length, and this would have ben a dream.
I am wearing the 3X and it fits true to size. It has an elastic band below the bust and the high neck collar also has some stretch to it. I love the razor cut detail and the blousy sleeves.
This is the second time I have ordered this shirt. The first time, I just wasn’t completely sold on it. But once the price dropped a bit and went on sale, I grabbed it again to think over.
I bought the 3X and absolutely love it. It is super soft and a great length on my long torso. Not cropped like the white t-shirt. The sleeves are a great length and have a cuff stitched in.
This skirt is what dreams are truly made of. It is luxurious, comfortable and the movement! Just in love with this. I don’t know if I have ever bought a maxi skirt for the fall, but it would look so cute with some booties!
Wearing the 3X again, it is a perfect fit. If you are between sizes, I would suggest sizing down one. The wide waistband has lots of stretch, and the drawstring isn’t real.
This isn’t a top that I would normally gravitiate towards, but I just loved the way it looked online. It is a “no suck in” shirt, and I love how it fits. The short sleeves have a small ruffle on it, a slight downside for me. It might look funny under a cardigan.
In my normal size 3X, this is a little bit cropped, but the light and airy feeling you get from the ruffles makes it super cute. This is a contender to keep, especially because I don’t have anything like it in my closet!
This top is currently sold out in plus sizes, which is such a bummer. But it is fully stocked in straight and petite sizes. I struggle finding a well fitting button down, as I am very hippy and carry my weight in my middle. There is some gaping in the chest, not because it is too tight, but just because there aren’t many buttons. Easily fixed with a quick stitch.
I am wearing a 3X, and while it fits, it is a bit snug in the hips, as usual for me! It is a beautiful fabric and I am tempted to keep it just for tucking in and tying up, but I am trying hard to not settle for less than perfect.
There are no words for how beautiful this skirt is. It is fully lined, making it skim over lumps and bumps like a champ. It is a thick, high quality fabric and a perfect midi length on me.
I again grabbed the 26 to not have it be too tight in my midsection. I love the fit. I do think it is true to size, I just didn’t want it to be too much like a pencil skirt.
I had high hopes for this jumpsuit! I had been lusting over it for weeks. It is just SO dang cute. The fabric is super soft and has just a bit of stretch to it. The cuff on the bottom of the leg is elastic and overall, it is adorable.
It is just a bit too snug for me. I bought the 26, and still feel like it pulls a bit in my midsection, to the point where it wouldn’t feel comfortable to sit in it for long. I wish it were a better fit! If you are grabbing this, I would suggest sizing up one from your usual jean size.
