Alright, finally placed an order on ASOS, a shop which I haven’t really actively shopped since… I lived in England back in 2014. Way past due. With us being stuck inside for the foreseeable future, I wanted to keep everything pretty cozy, while still thinking about the glorious day when we will resume our time in the great outdoors.
Since it had been so long since I had tried anything ASOS, I didn’t really know what size to get. For whatever reason, I assumed it would all run small. But EVERYTHING I ordered runs VERY generous. I will write my sizing suggestion under each item, but if you are on the fence with any size, My bet is going to be you should size down.
Something that really impressed me about ASOS was the wide variety of price points and the amount of quality fabrics they had available. So much cotton and linen!

ABOUT ASOS
ASOS is an English based marketplace that sells multiple brands from all over, as well as producing their own in house brands which are priced incredibly well for the quality.
They have great shipping and free returns on anything you buy. I decided to go for the option of a year of express shipping for only $19. It seemed like a great deal, and ASOS has really awesome fancy dress options. So, the ability to have a bunch of options come to try before a big event with the ability to return for free is highly appealing to me.
MY STATS: I am 5’10” and a consistent size 24.
Absolutely loved this set. It is super cozy, with an oversized fit. I grabbed the 24, and while it is a bit baggy on my, I suggest sticking with your regular size. You want a relaxed slouchy look. This set probably isn’t best for petite girls, as I am 5’10” and the pants and sleeves are pretty long for me. Tall girls rejoice!
This sweatshirt is such a great transitional top. It is lightweight and thin, making it great for cooler days during the spring. Burgundy is my color forever, and I really like the cropped fit. I didn’t realize I forget to add the pants in, but the size 24 top fits perfectly!
Can we talk about how cute this dress is? I freaking love it! The perfect midi length, even for shorter gals. The way the waist line is cut is really flattering and I love where the sleeves hit. This one fits true to size, and I recommend sticking with it! I’m wearing the size 24.
Ok, let’s be real. Yes, we all want to wear cozy clothes. But at the end of the day, sometimes you need to spice it up a little as you crawl into bed, feel me? Wearing the 24 in this set, and both are the perfect fit. The pieces are sold separately, so you can size accordingly.
One thing to note is that the straps on the top are very long. I am going to need to stitch them into a racerback.
Can’t say enough good things about this dress. It is going to be the PERFECT look for spring. 100% cotton and so lightweight. It runs very large. I know it is meant to be oversized and flowy, but I would say to still size down at least one size, potentially two if you are between sizes. I’m wearing the 24, but would size down to the 22.
This cotton PJ set is super cute. I love the higher neckline and the fun print. I wish the top was just a hair longer to make a cute front tuck, but these will be great for hot summer nights. Wearing the size 24 in these.
Whoever said that black was not for summer was sorely mistaken. Or clearly not a New Yorker. I am obsessed with this dress. I was really worried about it being too snug and gaping due to the buttons, so I went up to the size 26. I wish I had gotten the 24, and potentially the 22. It runs very large. You don’t want this dress super tight, but definitely stick with your regular size, or size down one.
Yes, it is black. Yes, it is long sleeve. But it is lightweight, 100% cotton and looks adorable with the sleeves rolled up!
