I am sure we can all agree that comfort is what is winning in our wardrobes. Even those of us who are back at the office on the daily, comfortable clothes have taken a huge priority for so many! I know I personally am not interested in anything that doesn’t feel good on my body anymore.
When Draper James reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in trying out their new loungewear, I was a little hesitant at first. I’m not going to lie, I was very skeptical that it would fit like true plus sizes. As a solid 24/26 and now in my third trimester, there are plenty of brands that don’t work for me right now, especially when taking comfort as a factor!
The prints were so cute, though, so I decided to take a gamble and give a pair of lounge shorts and a sweatshirt a try. While I am a neutral girl at heart, I’m getting a little tired of basics and solids. I am ready for all things spring and floral!
The team at Draper James sent over the Natalie Sweatshirt and Natalie Sweat Shorts in Magnolia. And they sat in my PR pile for a while, because I really didn’t want to be disappointed when I tried them on. I don’t like being wrong, but this is one instance where I was so happy I was!
THE FIT
As soon as I pulled the shorts on, I was shook. They fit my waist comfortably, with some room to spare and the shorts weren’t too short that I wouldn’t want to pop out with the dog for a potty break. The sweatshirt fits my body perfectly, which never happens! It wasn’t too oversized in the shoulders but also fit around my waist without being tight. Hallelujah!
THE FABRIC
Most of the loungewear is made from 100% cotton, which just makes me so happy. Cotton is always my fabric of choice, as it breathes really well and doesn’t leave you feeling hot and sweaty. It is thicker, high-quality cotton that feels like it is worth the price. I have now washed mine twice (with hang drying) and they are holding up really well!
Overall, I was really impressed with my first Draper James pieces, and I will now definitely be checking out some of their cute spring dresses and potentially this adorable gingham robe.
Have you tried anything from Draper James?

I’ve tried their dresses/coverups from LandsEnd and *love* them. I wear them year round and can’t quit them. I won’t quit them.
