I went into Old Navy this morning and went a little crazy picking out some comfortable pieces that would also make me feel cute and pulled together. I realized that a lot of the clothes I have in my closet, don’t actually serve my daily life right now. Comfy, relaxed, and simple is where I am at.
They have such great prices, and I was able to pull together a ton of different looks with a few basic pieces. I obviously went with a monochromatic black and white vibe, but Old Navy makes it super easy to switch your colors up. Tons of their pieces coordinate, so if you want to have green, mauve, purple, or brown be your color palette or pop, they have done most of the work for you with their collections.
Bottoms
Joggers
Wearing 3x
These are super light and comfortable. While they might not be quite warm enough to wear right now, they will transition into spring like a dream.
Leggings
Wearing 3x
I think Old Navy leggings are great for the price point. They run a little generous, so if you are between, size down. I love this particular pair and the 7/8 length! Plus, there are pockets.
Sweatpants
Wearing 3X
Basic sweaters also made it into my bag, as I don’t have a pair in black. These are perfect with a fancy coat and cute sneakers. I’m committed to the luxury loungewear look, and these fit me so well.
Tops
Striped Tee
Wearing 3X
I have this shirt in the short sleeve version, and when I saw it in store, I immediately knew I would take it home. It has a really nice slub knit texture to it.
Crop Top
Wearing 4X
Busting out of my comfort zone and bought my first crop top. I went up a size both for length and because I didn’t want it to be skin tight. It has a shelf bra, but I will still wear a real bra.
Cropped Hoodie
Wearing 3X
I have a ton of sweatshirts, but I actually don’t have any hoodies at the moment. I think this cropped fit looks super cute with joggers, leggings, or paired with a longer top underneath.
Jackets
Puffer Jacket
Wearing 4x
Ok, this puffer is super on trend and I love the sheen on this particular color. The store only had a 4X available, but I would definitely suggest going with your usual size. I would have preferred a 3X
Ribbed Sweater
Wearing 3X
All about the texture, and this zipped sweater brings it! It fits really well and is super long, making it great to pair with leggings. It has an oversized collar that looks great layered with other pieces.
Quilted Jacket
Wearing 3X
Is this my favorite piece? Potentially. It is a bright white with a quilted detail that makes it looks so much more expensive that it really is. It fit me perfectly, but if you want a more generous fit, I would size up!
Extras
Boyfriend Shirt
wearing 3x
If you want to be able to level up your athleisure, make sure you have a crisp white button down in your closet! I love to layer with this and elevate simple looks.
Chunky Sweater
wearing 3x
I actually own this sweater in black and decided to grab it in grey today. It looks so chic and high end. I will get a ton of wear out of this for years!
Plaid Shirt
No Size
I wasn’t able to try this one on in store, but if you are looking to add in a print, try plaid! Flannel is on trend and classic, so you can’t lose with this one.
