It seems early to be already talking Halloween, but so many things are selling out already! I’m sharing a ghoulishly great variety of décor, clothing, and makeup to kick off the Spooky season!
Obsessed is an understatement about this fringed mini dress from Anthro. This dress would be perfect for your photoshoot with the fall leaves or your family trip to the local pumpkin festival. I feel like this is one of those pieces you plan the event around. Haunted dinner party with friends? This dress. Drinks downtown in some moody bar with the hubs? This dress.
While it may seem totally cliché, wearing orange during Halloween time can be just what you need to feel festive! And these pieces can be versatile…no pumpkins or candy corn images to sequester them to one holiday season. And if orange is your color…these sweaters can be worn through more than just the month of October. This vibrant orange mini dress from Anthro is even on sale!
If you’re looking for something frightfully gorgeous to add to your costume, Sephora has a great collection of products they’ve put together for Halloween this year. I’m eyeing this Velvet Matte lipstick by Gucci and will absolutely justify wearing this every day, not just to a spooky party. Then again, a costume party is the perfect reason to need some new makeup, right? Spooky season is perfect for trying out new shades and colors you would otherwise pass up. Break out of your comfort zone and try some holo-glamorous eye shadow with the new Pat McGrath palette.
I love seasonal decor to be very minimal. I like to have pieces that add some festive flare without feeling like Hobby Lobby threw up in my living room. These customized wall hangings from Etsy add a cute punch of Halloween and can be personalized to your own taste.
Crate and Barrel has some super chic items this season, and I love the idea of a this black candle-inspired tablescape for a fun, family Halloween dinner. I would pick up some black taper candles to add to these Vantaa taper holders, pop some popcorn, turn on Hocus Pocus, and voila-Halloween family movie night party. Ceramic continues to be a big style theme this year, and these Dover ceramic pumpkins are ghostly gorgeous.
The boys would absolutely love some outdoor decor for the country house, and Pottery Barn has a Harry Potter Collection that is soooo perfectly spooky. This Aragog spider and spider baby string lights are too fun! I think it would add just the right amount of scary to the porch, without totally scaring away trick-or-treaters. They even have a dementor if you love an extra frightful yard display.
There are so many fun things to add some frightful fun to your home, whether it’s splurging on these super soft plush pillows or these skeleton hand stemless wine glasses. I love small touches that bring this spooky holiday to life.
What spooky things are you shopping for this Halloween season?
